2010年12月23日，丁大卫教授应邀为北京大学光华管理学员的MBA金融班上课。丁大卫教授通过金融树体系和大量亲身实践演绎了国际金融的理论与实务，学员们收益匪浅,第一次感到原来抽象深奥的金融可以变得如此通俗易懂，一“木”了然。

北京大学光华管理学院博士，助教杜中明说，关于导致此次全球金融危机的原因众说纷纭，他也一直没搞清楚，尚未见到令人信服的说法。殊不知，危机爆发前的几年间，丁教授已不厌其烦地警示世人，将结果公之于众，并为阻止这场危机的爆发进行了不懈努力，这实在是了不起。金融树将所有金融规律，图文并茂地系统集成到一棵可视化的“金融树”，让人一目了然，这太奇特了。

金融树（Financial Tree or FinancialTree）

Professor David Ding is a world-known financial expert. After more than 20 years of diligent research and lots of practice, he discovered the objective laws of finance for the first time in mankind history. He further discovered that everything about finance is exactly the same as that of a tree. Consequently, he created a number of brand new financial management system, theory system, knowledge system and educational system such as “Financial Tree or FinancialTree”, “Financial Tree System or FinancialTree System”，“Systematic Finance”，“Financial Ecology” and others. Having mastered the laws of finance, professor Ding published the results of every financial crisis even before they started. He also tried all he could to prevent the crisis from happening.
